You are viewing this page because you would probably like to know more about the business that I am involved with, and how I can possibly help you become a successful work at home entrepreneur.   Right now I am building multiple streams of income, as Robert Allen teaches, which are listed on my Income Opportunities page.  Another reason for me having multiple income opportunities is that I am a marketer that wants to help other people create an income online as well.  If I only had one business that was a high ticket direct sale program then I would not be able to help the person who did not have the money to join.  So therefore, by having a few programs, I can offer them a program with a lower start up cost.  

I made the decision to go into business as an entrepreneur because of the lessons I have learned from one of my mentors Robert Kiyosaki, the author of Rich Dad Poor Dad, & the Cashflow Quadrant.  Robert taught me in his books that the most important thing you can do is go into business and become a business owner and not employee. 

I also hope that you are here to learn more about me, Colin Meunier. I have found that websites and emails really don't validate trust or relationship building when it comes to getting to know someone well enough before you join them in a business opportunity, so I invite you to call me anytime.  I know the secret to successful working partnerships is to create relationships with people who know, like and trust you.  Hopefully I can prove all three and become a business and marketing partner with you.

One thing you will notice here, is this website is NOT about me promoting a bunch of mlm business opportunities to you like most other websites on the Internet. This website is unique, because it is about ME, and not a boring Biz Opp website.  Also what you will learn here on this website is how certain people (my mentors) have helped me realize the success that I see more and more on the Internet with a work at home business. The reason is because I am a leader, and it is my prayer to lead you in the right direction.

My Story...

Colin Meunier was born in Edmonton Alberta, Canada.  The home of the Edmonton Oilers and The Edmonton Eskimos, for those of you that are Hockey and Football fans. I grew up in the city and spent most of my life as a child in St. Albert, a suburb of Edmonton, until I left home at age of 17 to live on my own downtown Edmonton.

When I was 21 years old, in the summer of 1996, I traveled out to Vancouver BC. and found it so beautiful I decided to stay. I moved out to Vancouver island in with winter of 1997 and found an even more beautiful place. In my early 20s I have lived in several places up and down Vancouver island from a small island called Denman and all the way down to Victoria.  I moved to Victoria in 1999 and then...

Finally after a series of bad decisions resulted in traumatic events that altered the course of my life in a major way.  I guess I just knew that the way I lived was not the way to go, so I tried many times to make a change on my own.  I went back to school a couple times to upgrade as an adult.  I tried on my own to make positive changes.  I even started reading self help books and searching for some spiritual way that would change me.  The problem was that the self help stuff and new age spiritual stuff was not the answer.  I was told that I could do it on my own and change.  The truth and fact is that none of this worked either. 

You see, now looking back on all this, I am very thankful for what all has happened to me as it all positioned me for some very important changes that needed to happen in my life and made me the person that I am today.  In the summer of 2001 I ended up doing something I never did before.  I cried out to God and asked him for some help.  To my surprise God did help.  I almost never recognized Him reach out with His faithfulness.  God is so faithful that He answered my prayer. It was amazing to me how fast he did reach out and take me from the world I was in.  

I met a couple Christians who led me to the Lord.   Today, it seems that the label Christian does not mean much anymore.  Many people say that they are Christians, but they certainly do not practice it.  Perhaps you can relate. Let me make one thing clear. Just because, someone goes to church does not make them a Christian. The word Christian actually means Christ like. Being a true Christian is a lifestyle of having a relationship with God and being a doer of what he says.

 

The first christian was a man who was training me on my new job I got that week, how to knock on doors and sell greeting cards. He had invited me out to a meeting the next Sunday to eat breakfast and talk about God.  I had agreed to go not even knowing I was being invited to church.  Then that Sunday after Church I sat in a McDonald's waiting to get picked up to go knock on more doors selling greeting cards.  While I sat in the McDonald's waiting, there was another man sitting at a table next to mine.  This man for some reason turned and asked me if I was a believer.  I looked at this man strangely and said maybe, a believer of what?  He said Jesus.  I told him that I did not know.  I said I may believe in God but not sure about Jesus.  So this man started to tell me who Jesus was and how I needed Jesus as my Lord and savior.  Well on this day a seed was planted in me and continued to grow.  I soon became a born again Christian and I met the Lord Jesus and gave my heart to Him. 

In the fall of 2004 I was asked to help out and teach Sunday school.  Well I was very honored to be able to help out with children ministry.  I then taught Sunday School for three years at Trinity Christian Centre. A very joyful time for it was to be a part of helping with the children.

In early 2007 God then called me to something else I really did not expect or even have the desire for at all.  In Jan 2007 there was a couple on eldership at Trinity Christian Centre that was called to go plant a church in Montreal.  When I personally thought of Montreal, cold winters and people who speak a language that I do not understand.  So I totally did not want to even pray about going to Montreal when we were asked as a congregation to pray about whether we had a call.  Then one day God spoke to me in a dream and show me Montreal.  I then started praying more and hearing from God more that I was called to go to Montreal and help support and be apart of the team with the Church plant.  God then gave me the heart and desire for Montreal Quebec.  So I then gave away most of what I had in Victoria BC, and picked up and drove accross Canada to beautiful Montreal Quebec! 

This move was sure not easy thing to do.  I basically had to get up and leave all my wonderful friends and Church family in Victoria, get rid of all my stuff, and then move to a province in Canada where english is a second language.  In fact most people in Quebec do not even speak english, they speak french. I do not know french YET, so it can be harder to understand at times.  Right now I do live in a coummunity in Montreal called (NDG) Notre dame de grace, a bilingual part of Montreal.  So there is both language mostly spoken here.   Here is a picture of me on the street in old Montreal.

Now regarding business and work, it was back in 1998 when I decided for the second time that I wanted to go back to school and get an education so I could get a good job. Now I had no idea what a good job was or what I wanted to do. I knew that I wanted to do more than deliver pizzas for Boston Pizza, which is what I was doing at that time. I was always interested in business, numbers, and making money. After discussion with a counselor I decided to get my math and English up so I could pursue a degree in commerce in 1999/2000. My journey through college lasted only one year as I was a 'C' student only trying to see my way through.

I then started getting my education from the book stores, seminars, and audio tapes that I bought. During the year 2000 was when I started to surf the Internet more about making money with a work at home Interent business. I messed around with paid to read emails and paid to surf programs. I guess it was my first $10.00 check that got me excited. I knew at that point that you really can make money on the Internet and moved on to find a profitable home based business.

For the next couple of years, 2000-2002 I got mixed up with (HYIPS) High Yield Investment Programs and Offshore Investment clubs. I made a fair bit of money and lost a lot of money. I guess I got hooked like a gambler and kept chasing my lost money.

While I was at a business and mindset seminar called the Millionaire Mind Intensive with my mentor T. Harv Eker in spring of 2002, learning how to build a more profitable home based business, I felt the conviction of the Holy Spirit. I felt the Lord tell me to stop burning His money. It became truth to me that until I was a good Steward with what He has given me, I would not receive more. In fact because I was not a good Steward with what the Lord has given me, what I had was taken away.

It was also in mid year 2001 that I realized I now need a job to make money.  One main reason I needed to get a job at this time was to feed my 'HYIP habit'.  I no longer was making money in the HYIPs, but kept thinking that if I put more money in that I would soon make more.  It was another form of gambling, or shall I say it was gambling.  This is what I heard the Lord to me to stop doing, becasue any money I made I just simply lost in a HYIP scam.  So anyway, I thought long and hard of what I could do for a job.  I did not want to do stuff like work in a restaurant or anything, as I did enough of that. I remembered of what one of my text mentors Robert Kiyosaki said, " Rich people don't work for money, they work to learn". He also said that if you have to get a job, then get a sales job because if you want to be an entrepreneur you have to learn how to sell.

So I then got a job as a telemarketer, and also started doing door to door sales. I remember that from the year 2001 to 2002 I had over 9 jobs in less that one year. This was not because I could not keep a job, it was because I was not good on the phone. Well I am now proud to say I am very good on the phone. I can do very well knocking on people's doors and making cold calls.

Well now in the year 2003 I decided to explore the industry of MLM. Don't let that word, "MLM" scare you, it stands for Multi-Level or Network Marketing. Network Marketing companies are direct sales companies which pay out a portion of their sales for a product to a distributor. People in MLM make a commission for the retail purchase of products from people who are in a group or downline below them. It is legal and it is one of the greatest industries in the world, when run correctly.

You probably have visions of Amway friends converting you to their way of life. Memories of those dinner parties with a white board and all the circles. Showing the 'plan' its called. Where you are ambushed with a slick sales pitch to buy soap? Or maybe you have had been burned by an MLM company?

If you have been burned by MLM, join the club, so have I. Now, don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with MLM, it is just that so many people have also been burned because of all the hype, smoke and mirrors. There are a lot of dishonest people out there, and more so on the Internet. I personally think MLM is wonderful and a most incredible kind of business model to get involved with.

In fact, to bring you back just a little bit, in the year 2001 when I was involved with the HYIPs, I did get involved with a telecommunications company called Excel, which was MLM. I was not familiar with MLM, I just was interested in business and when the pay plan was explained to me I got kinda excited.  This only lasted a few weeks so I don't really count this as part of my journey in MLM programs.  I really did not like it. I joined because I like business but soon got a bad taste for network marketing. This company was mostly offline style of MLM and trained people to go to their friends and family. They told me that I was to go to my friends and family and ask them to help me start my business by switching their long distance service. This company told me that my family would not switch because they might save 2 cents on their bill, but because they like me. Well how do you think I felt when I went to my friends and family said NO! I was really hurt. So I went and made my money back and threw my kit in the trash! Plus I wanted to make money on the Internet, not off my family's phone bill. I just knew in my heart that this was not the way professionals do business. I knew there must be a better way. I will tell you how I found that better way further on in my story.

Well I now knew the power of network marketing and building a business. I had already read many books and gone to many seminars. So I waited to join the next business opportunity.

I then fell for the hype of an online MLM promoting a calcium product in the spring of 2002, which only lasted a few months. I liked the products but the company was all hype and I quit just shortly before the company went out of business. This was a company that promoted itself as a company that will 'build it for you' kind of company. Well after I learned my lesson that if something is meant to be its up to me, and if something is worth having its going to take some work.

I went on through the rest of the year promoting a few other MLM & affiliate programs with no great deal of success. I may have dropped a few programs and started new ones here and there, but I never quit altogether. I knew quiting would never be an option. I counted each mistake I made as a learning experience and knew that I would succeed in the MLM industry sooner or later.

I then started to learn more from my mistakes and learn from other people who were already doing well with promoting MLM programs on the Internet. What I started to notice was that those who were doing well had their own websites and opt-in lists, called ezines. I was not sure what kind of an ezine I could write for people, however I did put up a website in 2002 and named it EnterFreedom.com.

When I put up my EnterFreedom.com website I decided to cut costs to go with a cheap webhosting company.  I then learned my lesson on that when they vanished in one day and my website was not there anymore.

So in December 2002 I was then introduced to Joel Therien the president of Kiosk.ws , and Olivier Bedard the webmaster for Kiosk.ws. After I spoke with both Joel & Olivier on the telephone a few times, I decided to join up with Kiosk for the services they offered. At the time of me joining Kiosk I was only joining for the autoresponders but when I lost my site on the cheap webhosting company in January of 2003 I immediately transfered my website over to Kiosk.ws to be hosted.  I have never looked back and have found Kiosk.ws to be the most reliable webhosting company on the Internet.

I decided that within the past year or so I had learned a few good tips on getting started with promoting an MLM program so thought I could start an ezine. I had been learning for a while how building an ezine was so important for marketing online, as well as my past experience, so I thought I had better start now. I started building my EnterFreedom ezine.  Now even till this day my ezine is a huge part of my success.  I share great tips, trainings, resources, and build many relationships with people on my ezine.

As I went through the next year I still never reached the success I wanted, where I would start to realize my dreams. I made money with several MLM & affiliate programs on the Internet.  I jumped into many programs and bought many products that would help me succeed.  I kept thinking that it would be this next ebook, training course or company that would teach me that secret to making big money on the Internet. They all said they had the answer. They all said it was their company, or their ebook that would show me the riches on the Internet.

Well I floundered my way through these MLM & affiliate programs making little money and still funding my failures till the year 2004.  In 2004 I realized that what I was missing was some really good mentors. I have had many mentors in books I read and people I learned from in seminars, but it was the mentors that I could really work along side of that I was missing.

I now currently have many business mentors and teachers that are helping me succeed with a profitable Internet business and I am always seeking new ones. Let me share with you a few my mentors who have helped me the greatest when it comes to having a successful home business. 

My firist mentor was Robert Kiyosaki, the author of Rich Dad Poor Dad.  If you have not yet read the book I highly recommend you do.  This book was my starting point in learning financial education, something that just is not taught in the school system.  Not only did Robert teach me the importance of financial intelligence, he also taught me how important it is to have a business system when building a profitable home based business.  

The next mentor that opened my eyes and completely revamped my mindset for success was Val Smyth, the founder of  Mentors in Motion. Val Smyth taught me the true definition of marketing. I learned effective prospecting methods like how to close anyone in 45 seconds 100% of the time to evaluating my successful home business opportunity. I learned how to use delegation, and how to present my work at home Interent business to as many people as I wanted all at one time. Val Smyth also taught me mindset & posture of people like Donald Trump and Bill Gates.  After I started my mentorship with Val Smyth by taking the Mentors in Motion seminar and getting on his training calls every week my life started to change. I was introduced to something called captain and crew technology and I started weeding out many of the weak people in my life and attracting those who empower me to reach greater levels than I could on my own with my work at home Interent business.

One of the greatest things about having an Internet business is the ability to take your business with you where you go. 

When God called me to pack up and move accrss the country I had the freedom to do so without having to quit a job and go look for another.   Here is a picture of me at Niagra Falls Canada.  Wow!  what a beautiful place.  I was able to go take a quick visit here and enjoy the veiw while I was at a leadership training time in the Toronto area in May 2007.

I now take and apply to my home business what I have learned from my mentors and then also teach my group how to apply these successful strategies too.  So that they too will have very successful home business with as wel.  I sure hope you will be a part of my team so that not only will I have opportunity to mentor and teach you, but I will have the opportunity to even learn from you.  I beleive that we all can teach each other new things as long as we are open to recieving.  I have also made avaliable my information and knowledge regarding building an online Internet business to even those not involved with my team within my ebook 'Fast Track Profit Guide'.

The most important lesson I have learned about building a successful home business over the past few years is that success breeds success.  When you create little successes in your life and then build off those you will create even more and bigger successes in your life.  Also when you associate and surround yourself with other successful people their success will also rub off onto you. 

I can not stress enough, the importance of having a good business coach in your life that is willing to take you and teach and empower you, so that you too will achieve the same success.  Then you too will be able to be take what you learn and mentor other people.  Its all about adding value to other people's lives, and I love it.

• Build a "Who Is Page" like this one and tell your story, show your pictures and tell your passions

• Post it in the search engines so people find you with your keywords

• Use pay per click search engines, such as Google Adwords.

• Use Attraction Marketing strategies to attract to me the people that are interested in doing business with me, so I do NOT have to make any cold calls to business opportunity leads

• Use ezine advertising which allows me to target the market I want promote to.

• Use autoresponders which are VALUE based and not just opportunity offers or ads

• Use the power of the media & search engines to drive traffic to my websites by submiting free Press Releases. 

• Use Targeted Lead Capture Pages vto generate high quality opt-in leads for the products and businesses that I promote.

• Provide telephone & online conferences to teach other people what I know bout Mindset & Marketing

• Use audios which make you more human and eliminate having to read long web copy

That is pretty much what I do to make people come to me and I'll tell you what... I get many people who email and call me now.  I have people who join my businesses even before I speak to them.  You can learn more about how I use these systems when you join my team.
